"Vintage - Creams and White's" with a Sassy Cheryl Image

Welcome to another new week at Sassy Cheryl's Challenges!!! We had some wonderful entries last week and a big thank you to all who joined in the fun...

This week our Hostess is Sassy Judy and she wants to see all your sassy creations with the theme of "Vintage - Creams and Whites"...Now this is a fun one so everyone get a Sassy Cheryl image and come on over to play along with us..Of course I said it was "fun" but I did not say I follow directions very well....So just do as I say and not as I do...lol

As you can tell my creams are all shades from dark to light...Now I do have some white in there but I just had to add some baby blue also...Just had to!!!
My image is "Noah and His Bunny Bandit" which you can find at Sassy Cheryl's Stamps. Noah is one of my favorites...I thought Bandit was just so adorable I had to use a couple more of him...You know how those rabbits multiply...lol
On the inside of my card I stayed with the same papers just adding some buttons and another sentiment. Of course I love to add the faux stitching on my cards also....
I am entering my card in the following Challenges:
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see your wonderful creations in the challenge at Sassy Cheryl's this week. Remember the theme is "Vintage - Creams and Whites" with a Sassy Cheryl image. Enjoy your week and remember to try and do some crafting!

"Irma and Vieno"

Well, I am back again with another card today.  I wanted to play along with the Challenge over at Mo Manning which is "Turquoise" this week.  But I am in a fight with this new camera I bought and the camera is winning.  The color does not look at all like the designer paper I used.  This designer paper is a turquoise with bits of green and gold through it.  So you know I am not happy at all with this camera....And thanks to all of you who have tried to help me out.  I think I am just going to have to buy another camera....

I am using an older image from Mo Manning called "Irma and Vieno". When I first started learning to color with Copic's I bought many images of Mo's and Sassy Cheryl.  For almost a year all I did was color until I thought I was decent enough to start blogging.  This is one of those images and since I still have over 100 images already colored I thought I might as well play along with the Challenge.

So, I may get disqualified because yes I agree my design papers do look blue in the photo, but hey at least I get to showcase my card....Not sure you can also see it but the layer of card stock between the colored layers has glitter all over it.  I thought it would look nice since they are outside in the snow.

I am entering my card in the following Challenges:
I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far. It has rained here in Northern Alabama for the past 3 days or so...Be sure to stop in again on Thursday when I will have another card to showcase...Hugz...

This week our Hostess is Sassy Ann and she wants to see all your sassy creations with the theme of "Best Friends Together"...Now this is a fun one so everyone get a Sassy Cheryl image and come on over to play along with us...

As you can see, I decided to use the wonderful image of "Sassy Sally and Her Raggedy Ann". I love this awesome image and I used my copics to color it.  I started with a scallop border cut out card. My designer papers are from Stampin Up.  I added some flowers and a bow from my stash...

The sentiment does not show up very well but it reads, "We did so much together, The years, how they flew. And I cherish every memory of growing up with you."
The Girl Has Sass
You can't beat this wonderful set of Sassy Cheryl images. All 3 images for only $4.00. So hurry on over to get it...

"Snowman Card" with Digital Delights

Hi everyone, today I am showcasing a wonderful design from Wendy at Digital Delights

It is her "Snowman Card" and how adorable is this...I had lots of fun playing around with this. It is a paper piecing file and I did just that with the hat and scarf.  I went a little further with my snowman by adding some buttons on the hat and scarf, then on his little body also....His eyes are also round buttons and his mouth are little twinkling black gems....Isn't he a cutie...There is so much you could do with this little guy...You could even cut all your pieces out and then color them with markers or pencils.

Head on over to Digital Delights and check out this wonderful snowman to add to your Christmas Collection. It even comes with this wonderful pre-colored image...

"Sweet Dreams" with Digital Delights

It's Delightful Thursday again at Digital Delights!

Hi again....Today I am showcasing my inspirational card for Digital Delights! My Camera gave out on me so I had to buy another one and I just cannot seem to get the settings correct on it...It is either too bright or too dark...lol

I am using the image "Starry BooBoo" and "Kneeling Praying Boy".  The bed is from the "Bedtime Prayer Accessories Set". "Sweet Dreams" is part of the "Bedtime Prayers Sentiment Set". All the images were cut using my Silhouette and colored with Copic's.  The clouds and stars are all from the Silhouette Library.
As you can see it goes from light to dark...lol  But just another view.  I stopped after this one and will be reading the manual that came with the camera. lol

"It's So On" with Sassy Cheryl Challenges

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Sassy Cheryl's...First, we want to thank those of you who joined us last week for our "Hat's On" Challenge. It was great fun to see what everyone created...

This week "Sassy Jackie" is our Hostess and she has chosen "Outdoor Fun & Games" for our theme...So we would love to have everyone join us and Cheryl has some really cute new releases that would fit this theme perfect...For my card I have used three different images. "Persistence is Key", "Play Hard or Go Home Sally" and that precious cat is called "Bandit". Well, "Bandit" crawled out of the new shop (he's a mess) but he will wander back in soon...lol

Now, on to my card...Everything I used on this card was done with my Silhouette. The card base is a simple tent card and it was so much faster cutting it with the Silhouette. I used Copic's to color my images. What fun it was to put this card together...You see, Noah and his pals - they were trying to sneak in a game of baseball without Sally knowing...But that darn cat "Bandit" ran and told Sally...Then the baseball comes flying over the fence and lands - where else but at the feet of Sally....Oh me...That expression on Sally's face is too much...

I am entering my card in the following Challenges:
We would love to have you join us this week at Sassy Cheryl's Challenges. All of us "Sassy Gals" can't wait to see what you create... I have been having camera problems, internet problems, pet problems and I hope that is about all...Sometimes I feel like finding a "hole" and sticking my head in it...lol  But, what can we do, we just have to keep crafting!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead and thanks for stopping by today...

"Sassy Flower Girl"

Hi everyone, are you shocked that I am here with another card so soon. Well I am...lol  I was going to post last night but we had thunder and lightning so loud and bright it was scary...And blogger and my internet did not want to work with me at all....

So now to my card!  The challenge over at "Sketch Saturday" is to use a sketch (see below) and they are being sponsored by "Sassy Cheryl". Well, of course that was all I needed and I knew I had to do a card...
I am normally not good with sketches and therefore do not usually follow them that often. But I really tried to stick with this one and I sure hope I have....
My image is called "Sassy Flower Girl" and is from Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps. Isn't she just adorable...
I decorated the inside as well sticking to the same designer papers as the front. Adding a personal message area, stars and buttons.
I am entering my card in the following Challenges:
Thanks for stopping by again today...We are suppose to get rain all day today and tomorrow I think. Oh well, too hot to go out for any length of time anyway...I will be crafting, but I hope whatever your plans are that you have a wonderful weekend...Guess I am rushing it just a tad...lol   Hugz!

Hey my "sassy" girlfriends and guys...Did you get to join us last week at Sassy Cheryl's Challenges for our Red, White and Blue Challenge...WOW, we had some wonderful entries....I was so inspired by all of you who joined in with us....

For this weeks Challenge "sassy" Jackie is our Hostess and she wants to see your cards with a Sassy Cheryl image and a hat or cap on...Easy Peasy, right....So, I chose an older image called  "Bicycle Snowman" and I did him all up in pinks and greens. You can find this image here at Sassy Cheryl's Store and what a wonderful buy....All 3 images for only $4...
Just Doing What A Snowman Does
I started my card with a white card base adding solid green card stock and wonderful pink/green designer paper which I picked up at Joann's Fabric.  I used a large snowflake cut with my Cameo to mat my image on. Copic's were used to color my snowman and I added corner dies along with a bow...It was really fun to make a Christmas Card as this one is my very first of the year....
I am entering my card in the following Challenges:

"What's Up" with Digital Delights

It's Delightful Thursday again at Digital Delights!

First today since it is the 4th of July Holiday in the States, I would like to wish
everyone a wonderful safe and happy Holiday.

Here at Digital Delights it's "Delightful Thursday" and also since this is the
beginning of a new month we have the very adorable new images for July....

I am using "Jubbly Giraffe" along with a few other images also from Digital Delights. My palm tree with the luau flower is from the "Luau Accessories" set, the other tree is part of the "Jungle Buddies Accessories" set and the "What's Up" sentiment is from the "Jungle Buddies Sentiment Set".  So I really combined a lot of images together to come up with my card.
I cut my images out with my Cameo and used Copic Sketch Markers to color them.  I matted them on a black background and added a few "Stardust" Stickles throughout the card. Isn't "Jubbly Giraffe" just the cutest little thing....
I am entering my card in the following Challenges:

Red, White and Blue with Sassy Cheryl

I HAVE WONDERFUL NEWS FOR ALL OF MY "SASSY" FOLLOWERS....

I AM NOW A PROUD DESIGNER FOR SASSY CHERYL'S!

I AM JUST GIDDY WITH EXCITEMENT....

SO TODAY IS MY FIRST CHALLENGE AS A DESIGNER AND
WITHOUT FURTHER ADO (I always wanted to say that) HERE
IS MY FIRST CARD:

THE THEME THIS WEEK IS: RED, WHITE AND BLUE
Sassy Cathy is our lovely Hostess this week and she chose our wonderful theme of Red, White and Blue. So since this is my first challenge as a designer how could I not go with a "Raggedy Ann" image. "Star Annie" is an older image of Sassy Cheryl's and can be purchased here ...
What an easy card this was to make and I had a blast doing it....It is not a patriotic card but does give you a little big of the bang of the 4th of July....I cut my stars out and as you really can't tell from the picture I used the 3D Dots on each one to pick them up from the card. I used Copics to do all my coloring.
I am entering my card in the following Challenges:
We would love for all of you to join us over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog....If you need one of Cheryl's cute images be sure to visit her new store here! She has so many adorable new ones as well as some "Oldie but Goldies" that are a special price!  All of us "Sassy Girls" can't wait to see what you design so head on over...

If I don't get on before the Holiday, I want to wish all of you a Happy 4th of July!  I will try to get another card finished before then.  Enjoy your wonderful week ahead and please be careful out there....
