"Winter Wonderland" at Love to Create

Welcome everyone to the first Challenge of the Year over at Love to Create Challenges!  This is Challenge #47 and we are looking forward to a new and wonderful year viewing all of your wonderful creations.  We also have a fun and exciting event coming up in February.....
That's right it's our Birthday and boy are we going to celebrate....So stay tuned because you just do not want to miss this one....

So let's get started.....Today I am going to show you my card using an image from Bugaboo Stamps called "Winter Birds".  This image is simply adorable....
Cute huh!!!  Look at those cute little boots - we don't have these types of birds down here in Northern Alabama, but then again we don't have a lot of snow either.  I chose to use a shaped white card base and went with some blue and yellow designer papers.  I colored my image with Copics and added a winter theme sentiment placed on a large snowflake and scalloped circle.
I added some punched snowflakes in blue and white with small blue gems in the centers.  I also added some Ranger "Stardust" Stickles to the birds hat and scarfs as well as to add some extra sparkle to the snow. 
On the inside I again used the same sentiment as on the front just a tad larger.  On the personal message area I went with the same blue gems just in varied sizes.  What fun I had making this card...

  6. I love the Think Snow on the inside as you are going to have to think very hard about it to get snow in alabama! lol

    Great card Joann! Those birds are adorable. Love the snowflake trio balanced by the circle die with the snowflake theme repeated there.
