"Happy New Year"

Happy New Year!!

The Eureka Design Team along with our sister QKR Stampede Design Team is excited to Welcome 2013!!! 

We have a lot of exciting things to share in the New Year and today we start with sharing a sweet image to Ring in the New Year!

Some of the designers are sharing their wonderful cards today over at the Eureka Stamps Blog and at QKR Stampede.

I started my card with a Kraft Card Base and colored "Father Time" with Copics.  I inked the edges of my image with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in "Tea Bag".  I then cut it out using a Spellbinder Die and matted it on a matching piece of the layered designer paper.

On the image itself I also added some small beige pearls.  I wish I knew how to take better pictures because the charm is just adorable.  It is a small pocket watch and I attached it to the sentiment tag with Baker's Twine in red and white.

On the inside I again stayed with the same 3 layers of my designer papers.  I added a bow die cut flourish from Memory Box although it is hard to see.  I printed a smaller version of the image and cut the personal message area with the same Spellbinder Die as on the front of the card.

The last step was to add the corner dies with more pearls.  And that was it for my version of "Father Time"!
