Happy New Year Everyone!
We would like to welcome all of you back with us this New Year for our first challenge of 2013!
Our Theme this week is "Anything Goes"
We also are fortunate to have Darlene Pavlick of Dars Crafty Creations
joining us this month as our January Guest Designer!
Be sure to stop by the QKR Stampede Challenge Blog to see
what Darlene and our wonderful Designers came up with this week.
I decided to get ahead on my "Valentine" Cards...I love this Holiday because it is also my Birthday! So for my first card of the year I am using "Be My Valentine".
I decided I wanted to try a different shape card using a Spellbinders Grand Nestability. I colored my image with Copics and Prisma Pencils. Added some heart gems and heart flourish with a white bow and was finished with the front of the card.
The inside is fairly plain only using a big reddish pink heart and sentiment then a personal message area. I also inked the edges of the personal message with Memento "Angel Pink" Ink.
My Card Recipe:
Image - "Be My Valentine" - Digi 10305 - QKR Stampede
Inside Sentiment - "Happy Valentines Day" - Digi 28605 - Eureka Stamps
Dies - "Grand Labels Four" - Spellbinders - Hobby Lobby
Heart Flourish Die - "Twirled Heart" - Memory Box - SCACD
Everything Else - My Stash
I am entering my card in the following Challenges:
- Crafty Creations - #202 Anything goes
- Divas by Design - #66 anything goes
- Freshly Brewed - #126 anything goes
- Paper Shelter Challenge - anything goes
