"Lady" Inspiration Card

Here we go again, our favorite challenge...It's "Anything Goes Any Artist" this week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner.  That's right it seems to be a favorite of all of you wonderful crafters ....And we love seeing all your wonderful creations.  Not only that but we are sponsored by two wonderful sponsors this week....

This is our first week with Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps as our sponsor and we are so pleased to have them with us.  Stitchy Bears is offering a prize of a $10.00 gift certificate to their store.
We also have Scrappers Delights back with us again and boy do we love their images.  Scrappers Delights is offering a prize of a $5.00 gift coupon to their store.

This is my second inspiration  for the challenge this week. As with Monday I again used an image by Sylvie Stamps for Stitchy Bears Digital Stamps .  This image is called "Lady 1" and I made a very fancy and sassy tag with it.
Now let me explain something - just so you know I was not hitting the bottle....lol  I slanted the image on my tag, however, looking at it now I probably should have left it straight.  Isn't she pretty....I added a paper doily to my tag along with some wonderful corner dies and pearls.  The flowers and ribbon are from my stash.

My Tag Recipe:
Copic Sketch Markers & X-Press It Blending Card - 7 Kids College Fund
Corner Die - Lace Corner Deco B - Cheery Lynn Designs - Joan's Gardens
Adhesive - X-Press It Double Sided Tape - Oozak
Distress Ink - "Spun Sugar" - Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Hobby Lobby
Paper Doily, Design Paper, Pearls, Flowers, Ribbon, Tag - My Stash

I am entering my tag in the following challenges:
I hope all of you will be sure and enter your "Anything Goes Any Artist" paper projects in over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner this week. We would love to see your creations. Thanks for stopping by today.

Love to Create Challenge #26 "Card With A Tag"

It's time again for a new Challenge at Love to Create Challenges.  This week we would like to see your entries with a tag, so the theme is "Card With A Tag"...Easy Peasy...Our wonderful sponsor will be Fresh Brewed Designs who will be offering the winner of the challenge a prize of 3 digi images of their choice.
For my inspiration card I chose to use an image from Fresh Brewed Designs called "Lazy Day Buggy".
I used Kraft Cardstock as the base of my card and I went with yellow and green design papers. I seem to use these colors a lot.  I used Copics to color my image and added some sparkle to my flowers.
You can see I used my favorite "sun" again having cut it out of yellow cardstock and then traced another one on plain yellow paper and inked it up....I drew a tag out of the Kraft Cardstock since I did not have a tag die the size I needed.
On the inside I used the same designer papers and added some curly-q borders along with a few small butterflies.
So that's my inspiration card for Love to Create Challenges.  I hope all of you will join us this week with your lovely creations. We so enjoy viewing all of them.
My Card Recipe:
Image - "Lazy Day Buggy" - Fresh Brewed Designs
Sentiment - "Summer Living" - Netty's Cards

Border Die - "Curly-Q Border" - C. C. Designs - 7 Kids College Fund
Adhesive - X-Press Double Sided Tape - Oozak
Kraft Cardstock, Design Paper, Sun, Ribbon, Gems - My Stash

We also have Scrappers Delights back with us again and boy do we love their images.  Scrappers Delights is offering a prize of a $5.00 gift coupon to their store.

Now to show you my first inspiration card for the challenge.  I chose to use a design by Sylvie Stamps from Stitchy Bears Digital Stamps called "Leona"
She's a beauty and I colored her in various colors of pink.  I designed this card a little different from my other designs. Sometime you just have to mix it up a little.  My card base was a gift sent to me from a special friend.
I wanted my image to be the focal point of my card.  I purchased my flowers from another friend who was selling some of her duplicates.  They are beautiful...
I am showing you the inside of the card, however, let me assure you I was not drinking when I took the picture....lol  It is very crooked but I tried....The sentiment reads, "Trust me when I say, I am going to do Great Things"   And in the personal message area I printed a smaller version of the black and white image.
And just another view. I love the way the flowers showed up in this photo.  I distressed around the edges of the card for a softer look.
My Card Recipe:
Card Base and Flowers - Two special friends
Sentiment - Ginger House
Die - Spellbinders - Labels Seventeen - Hobby Lobby
Flourish - "Elegant Scrollwork" - Memory Box - SCACD
Corner Die - Lace Corner Deco B - Cheery Lynn Designs - Joan's Gardens
Copic Sketch Markers & X-Press It Blending Card Paper - 7 Kids College Fund
Adhesive - X-Press It Double Sided Tape - Oozak
Distress Ink - "Angel Pink" - Memento Ink - Hobby Lobby
Designer Paper, Black Pearls - My Stash

I left the inside of my card plain just adding a personal message area.  I chose to use a card base of Kraft Cardstock.  I really like using this for card bases now.
I used Copics to color my image and added a "Summer Lovin" sentiment which also is from Whimsy's. I added twine, brads, red heart gems, a red heart charm and a flourish for my embellishments.

So for my card I chose to use a lovely image from A Day For Daisies called "Bewildered 2". I fell in love with this beautiful image.
I used my Spellbinder Dies to cut my image out and distressed the edges with distress ink.  I thought my designer paper would add a bit of vintage look to my card.
My sentiment reads "You found me when no one else was even looking".  I added pearls to the middles of my flowers and on the corners of the card.
On the inside I added another sentiment, "I loved you Yesterday, I love you Still, I always have...I always will".  Then I added two more pearl flowers and the personal message area.

For my inspiration card I chose this cute little skunk.  To me she just looked like she was "Queen of the Skunks".....lol   I colored her with Copics and added corner dies to the corner edges.
Here's a front view of my card showing the sentiment a tad better.  It says, "Who Says SHOWING OFF is Bad?"  Perfect for this little "Queen".  I added black pearls for the centers of my flowers and then punched "mini" swirls.
As you know I always finish the insides of my cards.  This designer paper is so pretty that I decided to just add the personal message area and leave the rest plain.
I added some stickles to my image just to glam the "Queen" up a little.  I always love using black cardstock for my card base as it looks so nice especially with designer papers as pretty as this is.
My Card Recipe:
Image and Sentiment - "Skunk" - "Look Ma No Hands Sentiments" - Whimsy Stamps

Love to Create Challenge #24

Time again for a new Challenge over at Love to Create Challenges.  This week our Theme is "3 of Something" and we are being sponsored by the wonderful "Tiddly Inks"
Tiddly Inks

For my inspiration card this week I chose a very sweet and adorable image from Tiddly Inks called "Soccer King".
I decided to showcase my little guy with an Easel Card.  I colored him using my Copics and since the theme of the Challenge is "3 of Something" I use my dies and matted my image and sentiment 3 times.
Of course the easel card folds flat so it will fit into an envelope.  I used 3-D stickers in order to prop my sentiment up.  The sentiment says "Play Every Day".  Now here is a view of my card laying flat.
My Card Recipe:
Image - "Soccer King" - Tiddly Inks
Sentiment - "Play Every Day" - TLC
Copics, Cryogen White Paper, Sookwang Adhesive - 7 Kids College Fund
Die - Spellbinders - Labels Seventeen - My Stash
Card Stock, Designer Paper, Black Pearls - My Stash
