"In Honor of Sandy Hook" with Digital Delights

Hi everyone....As I promised I am back today with a very cute card in honor of all the beautiful little children and faculty lost in Newton, Connecticut. 

"Digital Delights" is offering a "freebie" to all those who would like to send a card in honor of those lost.  I will post the addresses at the end.  Below is the "Angel Donita freebie" that Wendy is offering.

 

 And this is my card that I made to send.  It is not fancy or anything.  I used Christmas red and green as my main colors.

I chose the black and white image as I always enjoy coloring my images.  I thought Wendy chose the perfect image for us to use since so many sweet little angels were lost. 

As I said I left my card pretty plain using just a sentiment on the inside "Glory to God in the Highest Peace on Earth Goodwill toward men."  I will sign the personal message area before I mail my card.

I added some punched snowflakes and white corner dies all with red gems.  I used Spellbinders dies to cut the mats for my image and inside sentiment.
