In The Garden

Time to brighten things up some, although here in Alabama rain and colder weather is moving in.  They even said the word snow.   I will never forget when we moved to Alabama 14 years ago from Colorado the first time snow was predicted all the news stations were calling it, "Ready Set Snow".  They kept talking about heading to the store for milk and bread, so I got scared and ran out and filled the pantry full of things....well, we got maybe and inch....did I mention we moved from Colorado!!!!

Well, on to my card...I used a yellow card stock and an image from Cuddly Buddly, "Coming Up Daises".  Got out my Spellbinder Dies to cut the light pink paper out for the background and the sentiment, which is from Whimsey's, Flowers in Bloom pack, "Friends are flowers in the Garden of Life".  I added a dark pink bow and some flowers purchased from Hobby Lobby.  Guess I better get this posted before the big snow knocks out the power....lol

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

I wake up and watch the weather channel and saw some crazy storm lines out in your direction today!! Snow one day, tornado warnings the next, sounds like Kansas, lol!! We're used to that out here hehehehe. Well I snooped around your blog and love your vintage touches and colours, and this project is oh so cute and you've paired it with the perfect sentiment!! I shall follow you too!! Stay safe!!
